Basketmouth announces the crash of his 12-year marriage to his wife, Elsie.
Popular Nigerian comedian Basketmouth who has been married to a beautiful lady, that has the best look with the blessing of three kids: two girls and a boy come to the public, with shocking news.
The comedian shared the heartbreaking news as he wrote that the decision was made after several deliberations by him and his wife and appealed to the public to respect their privacy at this time.
“As much as it pains me to bring my personal life to the public space, this is an unavoidable situation. After much deliberations, my wife and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage.” he wrote.
He also noted that he and his wife will continue to work together to give their children the best care while they navigate other aspects of their lives separately.
In his words, “as we move forward separately, we will continue to work together to give our beautiful children all the care, love, guidance, and support they need. We humbly ask that you respect our privacy as we navigate through these times. Thank you.”
The comedian and his entrepreneur wife, Elsie, met in 2003. At that time, Basketmouth had gone to the University of Lagos, which happens to be Elsie’s school, to promote his first big show, titled ‘Basketmouth Uncensored.’

The cause of D’banj’s forceful arrest at Abuja, over the fraudulent diversion of funds earmarked by the Nigerian government for the N-Power project
Should this be a mistake;
Nigerian musician, Oladapo Oyebanji, famously known as D’banj has been arrested and detained by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) over fraud allegations.
D’banj, insiders said, had dodged summons for weeks, claiming to be overseas for scheduled concerts each time he was invited to appear for interrogation over allegations.
The pop star, a wealthy Nigerian celebrity, is accused of fraudulently diverting some funds earmarked by the Nigerian government for the N-Power project, an empowerment program set up by the Nigerian government in 2016 to address youth unemployment and increase social development.
Investigators allege that D’banj colluded with some government officials to introduce ghost beneficiaries into the payroll of the scheme. The stipends paid to those beneficiaries were subsequently paid to accounts later allegedly linked to the celebrity.
After the musician failed to show up for interrogation despite multiple invitations, the ICPC moved to arrest him anywhere in Nigeria and abroad, forcing him to show up at the commission’s office on Tuesday.
On arrival, D’banj was interrogated and later detained. His plea for administrative bail was rejected by officials who said the musician could not be trusted to attend his trial if released on bail.
It was learned that the ICPC might approach the court on Wednesday for an extended remand order to enable the agency complete its investigation before charging the musician to court.

The theme for The Experience Lagos 2022 concert is “Jesus: The Exceptional One”. The most exciting aspect of the Experience Lagos 2022 right now is that it is coming back home to TBS. The 2022 edition will become the 17th edition of the music concert.
The line up of music ministers for The Experience Lagos 2022 was unveiled on Sunday 30th October 2022 by Pastor Paul Adefarasin, convener of the Experience Lagos concert. The most exciting part of the The Experience Lagos 2022 concert is the return to The Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) location. You would recall that The Experience Lagos 2020 and The Experience Lagos 2021 editions were held at House on the Rock Church due to the Covid 19 pandemic.

As with previous editions, there is no attendance and participation fee for The Experience Lagos 2022. The Experience Lagos has always been an open gate event. Similarly, for those interested in volunteering for The Experience Lagos 2022, there is no fee to participate as a volunteer.
